This is the date reffered to in the Mayan Long Count (probably the worlds most accurate calender) as the "End". basically the Calender ends here. The End could be interpretted many different ways. Some say it could be the "end of time", the end of man. Or simply the end of a particular way of life, which (hopefully) precedes a newer, better way.
Egyptian text state this as the "return of Osiris".
The zenith meridian at Giza runs through Jupiter at the Hyades in Taurus. The metaphor for this alignment is that the kingdom (Jupiter) will be restored to Egypt (Taurus) at that precise moment. Thus, Osiris, the Bull of Egypt, will return from the dead at 22:18:13 on December 21, 2012.
Astrologically there is some signifgance aswell;
Winter solstice will occur at 11:11 universal time
Second and last solar transit of the planet Venus of this century.
Also;
It is claimed that unnamed Tibetan monks specializing in remote viewing predict that divine extra-terrestrials will intervene at a point where the world's governments are about to deploy weapons of mass destruction. Adding to this, the Tibetan Monks say that the world is not ready to be destroyed and that our Earth is blessed and being saved continuously from all kinds of hazards of which mankind is not even aware.[4]
With so many referneces to this date from around the world, espeacially at "spirtualy centered" places as Tibet, Egypt and Peru it seems as there could be some relevance to all this...any thoughts?
Robert Monroe also had very interesting experience in regards to 2012.
While out of body, he was taken in the near future by advance being. They were somewhere in between earth and the moon. Around earth there were countless number of non-phyhsical beings. They were all gathered from nearby energy systems to witness the great event that happens every 87 milions of earth years.
According to Monroe, there is many possibilities on what might happen. One of this possibilities is a birth of a new energy. Which might alter not only phyhsical universe but other energy systems as well.
Apperently for earth, both danger and opportunity will be present in extreme degrees. |

| there are many people who saw visions of many things. I'd say it could be true he sure wouldnt lie but people who come up with this kinds of things are pretty much in common, like nostradamus' theorys. |

I personally believe in the visions of Nostradamus but his words could mean alot.
It's getting criticed alot but in that time he would get the deathpenalty if he just said it so he said it in a more complex way, so that only the people who were really looking for it would find it.
Nostradamus was a genius just like Da Vinci, they had the ability to write/illustrate things which will only be seen by the persons who are really seeking for it.
